#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iommi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.#CL# Iommi drives through and clinches with Parker against the cage.
Parker taking a breather. Parker is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Parker is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Iommi has denied him. Iommi crunches a lovely knee into Parker's ribcage. Iommi stalls. Parker taking a breather. #TD2# Parker pulls guard effortlessly. Parker throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Iommi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Parker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Iommi has managed to get both his arms back between Parker's legs - danger averted. Iommi throws an elbow that misses. Parker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Iommi's guard. Nice move by Parker!#REVB# Iommi wants to sweep here but Parker controlling him for the moment. #T1# Parker looking to pass the guard. #SUB# Parker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Parker wants to control from the top but Iommi keeps moving. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Parker passes Iommi's right leg, so he's now in half guard. #SUB2# Parker has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Iommi defend it? Parker steps over the head and cranks it - Iommi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Parker!
