"Ole!" shouts Woodys as he jumps to the side. #TD2# Woodys fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Xavier to the ground. Woodys is now in Xavier's guard.#SUB# Xavier looking for a guillotine here but Woodys defends easily.
Woodys must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Woodys has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Xavier is proving hard to escape from. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Woodys passes Xavier's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Xavier is trying to stand up here but Woodys is controlling him well. Woodys is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. #T1# Woodys looks to land a strike but Xavier avoids it nicely and regains full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU2# Woodys stands up from Xavier's guard - Woodys perhaps looking for a knockout. Xavier regains full guard. Nicely done. Woodys slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Xavier. Woodys wants to pass the guard but Xavier is defending well. Woodys looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Woodys takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Woodys seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Corey Woodys dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2# Woodys wants to clinch up but Xavier keeps it at a distance. Woodys scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Woodys stuffs the takedown.#CL# Xavier closes the distance and clinches. Woodys tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Xavier just stands there and leans against the cage. #TD2# Woodys gets a takedown into half guard.#ES# Xavier has one foot on Woodys's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Xavier enables Woodys to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Xavier manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#ES# Xavier pushes Woodys off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. #T1##TD2# Woodys bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Xavier is looking to get back to his feet here but Woodys is keeping cool and he's managed to take Xavier's back. Woodys trying to control. Woodys controlling well, preventing Xavier from escaping the position.

Woodys is breathing heavily.#SUB2# Woodys is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Xavier knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Xavier for a finish. Woodys has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#T2# Woodys gets his hands free as Xavier looks to control. Xavier is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Woodys is hanging on to Xavier's back as he tries to escape.

Xavier trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Xavier seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. That was a close second round but I would say that Juan Caio Xavier will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!#R3# Xavier closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Woodys wants to clinch. Xavier shoots in but Woodys avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Woodys stuffs the takedown attempt from Xavier. Xavier gets slowly back to his feet. Xavier avoids the head kick by Woodys.
The fight stays on the outside here - Woodys looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#T1# Xavier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Woodys as he avoids it easily. Woodys steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Xavier. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Caio Xavier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Xavier takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Xavier tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Woodys manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. And Woodys responds with a good body kick, but Xavier manages to step out the way in time. Juan Caio Xavier is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.#TD2# Woodys shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Xavier is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Woodys's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Woodys's back!#SUB# Woodys is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Xavier gets his way!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heart lands with a nice body punch. Heart blocks a head kick by Manny.
Manny looks to land a combination. Heart sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#CUT#It looks like That Heart has been cut. Heart cracks Manny with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.#TD# Heart gets caught flat footed, as Manny shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Heart pulls Manny in close to his closed guard and prevents Manny from doing any damage or advancing position.#SUB2# Heart escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manny gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SU# Manny stands up from guard. Let's bang! Heart connects with the punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Heart works Manny's body with a nice hook. Heart takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Heart scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.#TD# Heart gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Manny to score an easy takedown into full guard. Heart keeping moving, preventing Manny from controlling successfully. #T1# Heart looking to hit a scissor sweep but Manny is one step ahead there. Heart manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Manny manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# Manny can't keep his opponent in guard - Heart advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Heart seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Let's hope that Heart has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T2# Heart not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heart trying to mount his opponent but Manny defends it. Heart slows the pace down in half guard. Manny tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Manny working away. Heart tries to bench press Manny off him but Manny keeps the position. Manny working away. Heart is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Manny's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Heart moves into full guard.

Heart managing to control the position. Heart is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Manny wants to control but Heart is keeping busy and won't allow it. Heart keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Andy Skiles Manny overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.#T2# Heart's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Heart works his way into side control. Heart content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. #T3# More stalling from Heart. Heart throwing shots but missing, from side control. Heart tries to score with some ground and pound. Manny controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Manny being controlled for a moment. Heart working the ground and pound but Manny is defending the strikes. Heart controlling the position from side mount. Heart creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Manny sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. #T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Manny takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Heart connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Manny some visible discomfort.
Manny takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The referee asks Heart politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Heart prefers to stall for the moment though. You can see the frustration on Manny's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Manny is being controlled here. Sloppy strikes there by Heart. Heart sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Manny is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That Heart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on That Heart's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!#R3# Heart digs a good body shot into Manny's ribs. Manny with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Heart to score with a decent uppercut. Manny on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. #TD# Manny closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Heart to the mat! Heart manages to get full guard. Heart bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Manny's guard. #REVB# Heart controls from within his opponent's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Heart throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Manny works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Heart in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Heart slips nicely into half guard. Heart stalling. Heart not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Heart controlling the action here. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Heart.#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Manny tries to reverse the position but Heart maintains control. Heart thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Andy Skiles Manny has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Heart takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
