#R1# Gum keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.#CL2# Gum closes the distance and clinches.#TD2# Gum pulls guard effortlessly. Mubagy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mubagy sitting in guard, not really doing much. Mubagy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mubagy takes a little break here. Gum wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Gum tries to improve position but can't. #T1# Mubagy is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gum can do anything to dispel that myth. Mubagy advances to full mount. Mubagy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mubagy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gum is bucking up trying to escape but Mubagy cracks him with another couple of good strikes.#T2##SUB# Mubagy looking to isolate an arm here. Gum doesn't see it coming and as Mubagy extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Mubagy !

Silva tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cheesecake defends well and Silva ends up having to push Cheesecake into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Silva takes a shot right to the bread basket. Silva with a poor takedown and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cheesecake closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Silva! Cheesecake dives in looking to finish! Silva is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Cartwright looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pie is one step ahead there. Pie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pie tries to free his leg and advance position but Cartwright is retaining full guard. #SUB# Cartwright has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pie should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Cartwright has tightened it up now! Pie should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! Short Cake is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bap pulls him back up using the underhooks. #BC# Bap breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#CL# Bap gets in close and instigates a clinch. Short Cake drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bap pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bap shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Short Cake but Short Cake pushes him off and we're back to square one. The fighters circling - Short Cake throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Short Cake tries to clinch but Bap moves away #TD# and Bap counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Bap seems content to control. Short Cake tries to roll over but Bap keeps him under control. Bap works his foot free and advances to mount. Bap with a couple of short strikes.#T1# Short Cake is trying desperately to improve position. Bap controlling the position easily from mount. BOOM! Bap connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Bap throwing shots but missing, from side control. Bap throwing shots but missing, from side control. Who's going to make the next move? Bap throws an elbow but Cruller slips to the side and avoids it well. Cruller defending against the ground and pound. #SUB2# Bap wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cruller, who protects the arm well. Cruller is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An elbow from Bap crashes against the mat.

Boss scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cruller doesn't seem bothered though. Boss with a nice cross. Boss ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Boss misses with a two punch combination.

No joy there for Boss, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boss lands a really nice looking cross but Cruller seems unphased.
Boss uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cruller has time to react. A punch combination from Boss misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boss throws out a loose jab but Cruller uses good head movement to avoid it. Cruller avoids the body shot from Boss.

Hanus drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pie sprawls and moves away. Sandra Hanus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peanut Butter Pie. Bob paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bob, as that shot connected.
A leg kick checked by Cobbler. A little jabbing left from Cobbler on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Bob lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A jab from Bob does it's job there. Cobbler tries to bum rush Bob with a series of wild strikes but Bob uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cobbler pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Akos pressing his opponent against the cage. #TD2# Akos has clasped his hands together around Mint's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
