We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Snake blocks a head kick by Das.

Das wriggles free and stands up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Snake sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. A good leg kick by Das. The Snake shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Das as he avoids it easily. The Snake shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Das pinned against the cage. Das gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Das connects with a leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Rikshaar Das showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Das, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Akello bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Akello misses the jab. Akello lunges at Persson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Persson's hand. Akello misses with a right hand enabling Persson to counter with a crisp jab. Akello throws a big shot that misses. Persson moves out of range as Akello strikes. Persson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Persson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fernros lands with an uppercut that bounces Achebe off the cage and back into range. Achebe shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fernros as he jumps to the side. Fernros is looking for the big counter here. Achebe tries a head kick but it misses.
Fernros looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Fernros is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. No joy there for Fernros, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Achebe with a poor takedown and Fernros counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Good standup being displayed there by Fernros as he connects with a hook. Fernros is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Achebe with a lazy takedown attempt #KD2# and Fernros counters with a crisp right hand that drops Achebe! Fernros lets Achebe back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#ROC2#Achebe is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olijunde Achebe. That's going to take a lot out of him. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Marin manages to end up in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Bob's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Marin controls the position from side control. Bob is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Marin has just dragged him back down to the mat. Bob struggling a bit here. Bob tries to escape but Marin is in control. Bob controls Bap momentarily but Bap frees himself. Bap with a nice head shot there. Bob will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. A jab from Bob does it's job there. Cobbler tries to bum rush Bob with a series of wild strikes but Bob uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cobbler pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Stud tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pie paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pie appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Pie throws an overhand right that lands on Stud's shoulder, as Stud tries to avoid the shot. #TD# Pie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! Blueberry Pie dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.#R2# Stud avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Stud wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pie has his hands clasped together around Stud's back. He's all about the action. Pie trying to control but Stud postures up.

Stud would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Pie is controlling Stud's posture.
