A nice side step and Start releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Jeff Hecker Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hecker Jr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hecker Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hecker Jr throws a nice looking combination but Start bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Start is looking for the big counter here. Start stuffs the takedown. Start avoids a kick to the body.

Hecker Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Start defends well and Hecker Jr ends up having to push Start into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Start appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hecker Jr tries for a takedown. No joy.

Start sprawls well initially but Hecker Jr persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Start trying to hold on to Hecker Jr's head to control him but Hecker Jr postures up.

Mack wants to control but Bogo is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mack is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mack gets back to full guard.

Bogo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bogo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. He's pushed Mack off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Mack screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Chimaev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Carlos moves away. Chimaev swings widly with a right hand
#TD# and Carlos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Chimaev won't be happy with that. Chimaev tries to improve position but can't. Carlos works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Carlos working the ground and pound. Chimaev is trying to buck Carlos off. Chimaev is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Carlos off and has taken his back! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carlos manages to reverse the position and now he's in Chimaev's guard. Nice work there by Carlos.

Brachton lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mack controlling the position. Mack wants to sweep but no luck. Mack controls Brachton momentarily but Brachton frees himself. Brachton trying to move into half guard but instead Mack has managed to sweep!#REVB##SUB# Brachton is looking for a triangle but Mack pushes his legs off easily.

Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mack does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mack gets full guard. Mack lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mack tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Jones is breathing heavily. Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Mack is proving a slippery customer.

Klugman just content to control the position. #SUB2# Klugman is trying to get an arm triangle but Kuei is defending well. Kuei is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Klugman has just dragged him back down to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuei is not content to let Klugman control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Klugman controlling the position from side mount. Kuei is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Chimaev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Chimaev throws a jab when Hornby was well out of range. Hornby shoots in but no luck this time. A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Norton does a little dance to reset his feet. Norton misses with a hook. Miller slips a jab from Norton. Miller looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Norton looks to throw the jab but Miller is out of range. Norton throws a jab when Miller was well out of range. Miller feints the counter takedown. Miller is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Norton moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
