#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rafael sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Frost somewhat. Frost throws out a token jab with nothing on it.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. A frustrated look appears on Frost's face as he tries to break the clinch. #BC2# Frost escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Frost looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rafael is fending him off so far but Frost persists. Nope, Rafael circles away and we're back to standing. Frost tries to bum rush Rafael with a series of wild strikes but Rafael uses good footwork to avoid the assault. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rafael lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.#TD# Rafael darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Frost tries to get to full guard but Rafael has control of the leg. #T1# Rafael controlling the action here. Rafael is pressing down on Frost's thigh, looking to free his foot. Frost is holding on for now. Rafael not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rafael thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Rafael controlling the pace. #T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.#SUB# Rafael wants to work for an arm triangle but Frost is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Rafael has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.#T3# Rafael keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Rafael went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Alex Rafael has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaiah Frost. Frost fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#CL# Rafael instigates a clinch. #TD# Rafael gets control of Frost's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rafael will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rafael is pulling down on Frost's head to control his posture. Frost stopping the sweep attempt from Rafael. Frost throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rafael works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Frost won't allow Rafael to sweep him here. #T4# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.#SUB# Rafael working for a triangle but Frost defends it easily.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Frost postures up in Rafael's guard and throws a big left but Rafael blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Rafael dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.#R2# Frost changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rafael tries to avoid it but Frost manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rafael to the ground. Rafael escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rafael half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Frost keeps the fight on the outside. Rafael shoots for a takedown but Frost saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Frost is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Frost fails with an attempt to clinch.
Frost tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #TD# Rafael shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rafael was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rafael controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rafael trying to control the position but Frost is working away. Rafael in side control, just content to control the action for now. Frost is not content to let Rafael control the position. #T1# Rafael in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Frost misses with a strike from the bottom. Alex Rafael overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Frost tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rafael wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Frost trying to remain calm as Rafael controls from the top position. Rafael trying to control the position but Frost is working away. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Frost is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Frost can't do much from the bottom here. #SUB# Rafael swings around for an armbar but Frost sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rafael's guard. Rafael will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Frost wants to control from the top but Rafael keeps moving. Frost wants to pass the guard but Rafael is keeping the position.#T3# Rafael is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Frost is looking for a sweep. Rafael is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rafael controlling the pace. #SUB# Rafael is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Frost is just riding it out for now. Rafael eventually gives up the hold. Rafael thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. #T4# Rafael controlling the pace. Rafael is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Frost wants to control but Rafael is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Alex Rafael dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!#R3##TD# Rafael drives through with a takedown into Frost's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Rafael postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Frost keeping full guard, as Rafael tries to pass. #SUB2# Frost throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rafael not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. #SU# Rafael decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Frost, up you get! #CL# Rafael closes the distance and clinches. #T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.#TD# Rafael jumps into guard, dragging Frost to the mat.
Rafael is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Frost can do to turn this around? Rafael pulls Frost in close to prevent any damage. This is a sustained period of stalling by Rafael.#SU2# Frost decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rafael, up you get! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Frost will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Frost takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nice takedown defense from Frost. No joy for Rafael on that attempt. Isaiah Frost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alex Rafael is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Frost misses with a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Alex Rafael showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rafael has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
