#R1# Force closes the distance and clinches up with Alva, looking for a takedown. Force pushes Alva against the cage but Alva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Alva feints a counter leg kick.#TD# Force looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Alva! Alva is letting Force control him for a moment. Force cracks Alva with a big elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Force is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. #T1# Force lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Alva down.
A lull in the action here. Force's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Force seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Alva for as long as he can get away with.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Force has a takedown stuffed. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alva's guard. Force controlling the action here. Alva looks winded! He's got his arms around Alva's waist but Alva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Force off to one side. Force continues to stall.#T3# Force has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Alva is taking damage to the body and head. Force is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Force lands a shot to the body. Alva is covering up but some of the strikes from Force are getting through and doing damage.
Alva is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

and Zombie counters with a straight right hand. Morles is breathing heavily. Morles tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Zombie swats away the attempt to clinch by Morles. Osman Morles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A good leg kick by Zombie. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zombie scores with a sloppy right hand. Morles seems to have got his legs back now. Zombie will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Morles up against the cage. Come on Zombie - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Chimaev throwing strikes from guard but Moss blocks nicely. Chimaev passes Moss's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Moss is looking to escape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chimaev trying to control from half guard but Moss is working away. Chimaev working the head and body with strikes. Chimaev prevents Moss from standing back up.

Moss is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Moss might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Chimaev haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Zombie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kurosaki throws out the jab. A lazy left from Kurosaki finds it's target.#TD# Zombie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kurosaki 's half guard. Zombie wants to control but Kurosaki is keeping him busy. Zombie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kurosaki wants to improve his position but Zombie is controlling well.

Boyka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The fight stays on the outside here - Boyka looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Boyka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chimaev manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Chimaev slips under a jab. Chimaev swats away the attempt to clinch by Boyka. Boyka throws a right hand that Chimaev ducks under and follows up with a left that Chimaev also avoids with ease. Chimaev is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Boyka.#TD# Chimaev shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Boyka manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chimaev is looking to advance position but Boyka has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!#REVB# Khamzat Chimaev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Chimaev wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Boyka.

Chimaev sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Nice strikes from Boyka there. Boyka jumps guard but Chimaev stands there with Boyka around his waist. Boyka gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Boyka takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Boyka wants a takedown but no success here.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boyka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Boyka won't allow Chimaev to sweep him here. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Khamzat Chimaev. Well Chimaev has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
