The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Williams keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Platypus slips a nice elbow through Williams's hands, connecting with Williams's forehead.

Owens stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Casanova is looking for the KO!#ROC#Owens is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Kevin Owens has been cut. Owens is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Casanova lands a big right hook! Owens looks hurt but is still standing! Casanova lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Owens falls down and Casanova dives in with a huge hammer fist! Owens's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Casanova runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

#R1# Hammer walks into a straight right hand from Glover. Glover throws a body kick that misses. Hammer misses with a body kick. Glover throws a big counter combination but Hammer scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Hammer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hammer there as he acknowledges the shot. Hammer throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Glover's head. Hammer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hammer throws a lazy body kick and Glover cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Glover scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Hammer is looking to land body kicks. Glover tries to counter by clinching up but Hammer breaks away and moves out of range. Hammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Glover's waist but Glover gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hammer off to one side. Hammer throws a body kick that misses and Glover counters with a two punch combo. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hammer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Glover counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hammer throws a wild hook but Glover just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Hammer gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Glover raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Glover! Joe Glover spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. Platypus looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Test throws a big right hand that misses. We've been hearing reports that IronSide has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. A combination from IronSide does no damage. A head kick misses from Volkov. Volkov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.#CL# Volkov gets tackled into the cage by IronSide. IronSide maintains the clinch. #TD# IronSide has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Volkov regains guard immediately. IronSide tries to free his leg and advance position but Volkov is retaining full guard. Volkov working a defensive guard but IronSide passes into half guard.

Platypus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wei. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Wei!
Wei throws a right and a left that both miss. And Platypus tries to counter it with a takedown but Wei pushes his down on his head and steps out. Wei uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Platypus.
Platypus looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Wei misses the jab. Platypus wants to counter with a clinch but Wei pushes him away. Wei stuffs the takedown attempt from Platypus. Platypus gets slowly back to his feet. Platypus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wei throws out the jab. A little jabbing left from Platypus on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Wei looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. The fighters circle momentarily. Slumponyhu managing to block the knees to the body from Kong.

Cozad takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Cozad throws a lazy right hand but Kong sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kong tries to clinch #KD# and Cozad counters with a nice right hand that sends Kong toppling to the canvas! Kong scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cozad finish him?! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cozad throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Poutine lands a shoulder strike. Platypus is trying to drag Poutine to the mat but Poutine just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Perry Platypus. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Platypus works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Poutine pushes Platypus off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Kong throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kong lands an elbow that stopped Power in his tracks for a moment. Power has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kong avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Power jumps guard but Kong stands there with Power around his waist. Power gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kong has Power pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Power manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. #TD2# Power manages to pull guard.
