We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zero has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

ST walks into a jab.
ST misses with a shot to the body
and Yamauchi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. #TD#
ST shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Yamauchi tries to kick ST off in order to stand up. ST Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Yamauchi is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
ST moves into full mount!
ST looking to ground and pound but Yamauchi is blocking nicely. #T1#
ST wants to control the pace but Yamauchi is squirming around nicely.

ST swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Yamauchi is now in ST's guard. A big mistake from ST there, giving up the dominant position!

ST has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Yamauchi doesn't defend quickly enough and ST has managed to lock this one up! Can Yamauchi escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to ST on a fantastic submission victory.

Fillipov looks up at the clock. Bad move! Searchinson lands a right hand from hell, dropping Fillipov. Searchinson pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bony Searchinson!
