Everett tries for a takedown but Sultan circles away easily#TD2# so Sultan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sultan wants to stand but Everett has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Everett on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Everett tries to get out of the position. Everett trying to keep a closed guard but Sultan is proving a slippery customer.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Everett sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Douglas's guard. Everett perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. #SUB# Everett seems to be working for a kimura but Douglas defends the submission attempt. Douglas wants to get back to full guard. Glover throws a series of punches but Zoff moves out of range. #TD# Zoff closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Glover's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Glover prevents Zoff from moving into mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zoff is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Glover's shoulder. That is not cool. Glover is looking for a sweep. #R1# Muerte pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Zoff throws a head kick that misses. A little feinted left hand from Muerte on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Muerte connects with a jab. Muerte lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Zoff displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Muerte throws out the jab. Zoff wants to counter with a clinch but Muerte pushes him away. Zoff ducks under a wild hook from Muerte. Zoff's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Muerte connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zoff scrambles back to his feet. Muerte misses with a straight right. #CL2# Zoff drives through and clinches with Muerte against the cage.
