It looked like Makarov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Robinson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Makarov is fending him off so far but Robinson persists. Nope, Makarov circles away and we're back to standing.

Makarov throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Robinson's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Makarov dives in looking to finish as Robinson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Makarov's strikes! Makarov is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Robinson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Robinson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
