It looked like Neidlinger was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Crunch! Neidlinger slams his shin into Turrik's torso. Neidlinger looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Turrik fails with the takedown#TD# and Neidlinger counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Turrik is looking to stand up but Neidlinger isn't so interested in that idea. Turrik trying to keep a closed guard but Neidlinger is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turrik looking for a sweep. Not yet Turrik, not yet. Neidlinger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Turrik's guard. Turrik is trying to stand up here but Neidlinger is controlling him well. #T1# Turrik trying to control from the bottom.

Moore moves into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moore managing to control the position. Moore trying to control the position.
Moore working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Surinafi. Surinafi being controlled here momentarily. #T1##SUB# Moore escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Surinafi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB# Moore has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Surinafi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Surinafi stopping the sweep attempt from Moore. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moore pulls Surinafi in close to his closed guard and prevents Surinafi from doing any damage or advancing position. Moore wants to hit a sweep here but Surinafi passes into full mount! Fayo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fayo prevents Surinafi from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fayo wants to control from the top but Surinafi keeps moving. Fayo stays in close to Surinafi's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Surinafi keeping moving, preventing Fayo from controlling successfully. Fayo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Surinafi's head.#T1# Fayo trying to control the position from guard on top but Surinafi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fayo wants to pass the guard but Surinafi is keeping the position.#SUB# Surinafi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Surinafi defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Surinafi wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.#SUB2# Fayo is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Surinafi is tapping out! This one is all over!

Cruz has his hands on Kane's head, controlling the position. Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Cruz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cruz has Kane pulled in close to control his posture. #T1# Cruz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kane won't allow Cruz to get back to his feet. Cruz pulls Kane in close to prevent any damage. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#CL# Kane pushes Cruz up against the cage in a clinch. Cruz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kane prevents it.

Kane keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cruz's head.#T3# Kane loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kane trying to control but Cruz is working from the bottom. Kane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kane looks for a takedown but Cruz sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Albert Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kane lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.#CL# Kane clinches. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kane. Kane is trying to pull guard but Cruz turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.#T4##TD2# Cruz has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kane clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Cruz slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Cruz is trying to stick to Kane's back but Kane is turning into Cruz. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cruz's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kane. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cruz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kane manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# Jason Cruz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Albert Kane is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cruz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cruz is fighting to break Kane's control of his arms but Kane is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Albert Kane. Well Kane has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... #R1# Turrik fails with the takedown. Turrik lands a nice hook to Brzozowski's body. Brzozowski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A head kick from Turrik lands but Brzozowski takes it in his stride. Turrik has his takedown stuffed#TD2# and Brzozowski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Brzozowski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Turrik dives on top into guard.#REVR# Brzozowski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. #SUB2# Turrik got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brzozowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turrik has managed to get both his arms back between Brzozowski's legs - danger averted. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
