Acosta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Walsh stands up over Acosta, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Walsh is working Acosta over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Walsh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Walsh throwing strikes from guard but Acosta blocks nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! Acosta is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Levesque's guard.#SUB# Levesque escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Farquharson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB# Levesque had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Farquharson defends it easily. Walsh looking to pass the guard. #ES# Onaona wriggles free and stands up. Onaona throws a chopping leg kick but Walsh manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Onaona throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Walsh changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Klitschko loads up on a big right hand but Tunney slips the punch. Tunney has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tunney there as he acknowledges the shot.#CUT2#It looks like Gene Tunney has been cut. Klitschko scores with a nice right hand.
Tunney moves out of range of the strikes. Tunney steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Klitschko. A looping hook to the body misses from Klitschko. Tunney does a little dance to reset his feet. Klitschko throws the left hand but Tunney avoids the punch easily. It looked like Tunney was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Klitschko. and Zwirn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Zwirn throws a big shot that misses. Day moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Zwirn avoids a punch combination nicely.

McCarthy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McCarthy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB# Waterman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McCarthy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. McCarthy wants to control from the top but Waterman keeps moving. #R1##TD2# Granger scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Levesque gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Levesque moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Granger not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Granger stopping the sweep attempt from Levesque. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Granger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Levesque looking for a sweep. Not yet Levesque, not yet. #SUB# Levesque is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Granger defends well.#SUB# Levesque throws his legs up looking for a submission but Granger uses it to pass to side control.
