Dfg is looking to stand up but Boone isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Boone hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ben Boone!
Ben Boone opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Ngngng shoots in looking for a takedown but Ryuu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ngngng's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Teshima Ryuu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

He tries to recover but Ryuu pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ngngng is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
