#R1# Franco lands a glancing blow to the side of Johnson's head. Johnson tries for a takedown but Franco circles away easily and Franco counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Jab from Franco. Franco throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Johnson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Johnson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Juan David Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Franco lands with a shot to the body. Franco bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Franco lands the left hand. Franco feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johnsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Franco goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Franco scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Franco sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Franco scores with a nice head shot. Franco lands a nice hook to Johnson's body. Johnson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. #T1# Franco lands a right hook to the body.

#R1# Bowser fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ho looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ho drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Ho fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ho doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bowser counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bowser misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ho is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ho defending well as Bowser loads up on a big left hand. Ho has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dak Ho. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bowser will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Killjoy drops down looking for a counter takedown but Vella sprawls and moves away.#CL2# Vella has closed the distance and engaged Killjoy in a clinch.
#TD# Killjoy turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Killjoy manages to end up in side control. Vella is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Killjoy asserts his dominance and retains side control.#SUB# Killjoy tries for a kimura but Vella is defending well. #SUB# Killjoy swings around for an armbar but Vella sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Killjoy's guard. This has been an exciting period of action!#SUB# Killjoy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Vella stacks Killjoy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vella !#T1# Vella tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Porridge tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Spangler manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Porridge swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Porridge tries to clinch but fails miserably and Spangler counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Porridge scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Spangler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dusted Porridge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Spangler does it's job there. Spangler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Porridge. Ho trying to control but Www is working from the bottom. Www Www has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ho is looking to work some ground and pound but Www has wrist control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ho seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dak Ho is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.#SU# Www is working an open guard so Ho takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
