#R1##TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Taunde enables Van Neer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Taunde manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Van Neer is standing up over Taunde. Taunde looks to escape but Van Neer dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#REVR# Taunde is letting Van Neer control him for a moment. Van Neer cracks Taunde with an elbow. That is naaassty. Van Neer in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Taunde is breathing heavily. Van Neer advances to full mount. Van Neer lands a couple of good shots and Taunde has given up his back, trying to escape the position!#CUT2#It looks like Chamindra Taunde has been cut. Taunde trying to control but not successfully. #SUB2# Van Neer is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Taunde with him. Taunde is trying to defend but Van Neer has an arm under the chin now! Taunde grimaces and is forced to tap out!

#R1# Arakelyan drops his hands momentarily and Taunde takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Taunde lunges at Arakelyan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Arakelyan's hand. The fight stays on the outside here - Taunde looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#TD# Taunde gets caught napping as Arakelyan dives in and scores a takedown. Taunde manages to retain guard. Arakelyan works over Taunde with some ground and pound from guard. Arakelyan passes easily into side control. Nice work. Arakelyan looks up at the clock and then as Taunde takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Arakelyan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Arakelyan working the head with strikes. Arakelyan is chipping away with strikes.
Arakelyan scores with a couple of short elbows. Arakelyan advances nicely into full mount. Arakelyan lands a big shot there that rocks Taunde but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Arakelyan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.#T1# The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Arakelyan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

#R1# Marcel with a poor takedown and Rodriguez counters with a lovely straight right hand!#CUT2#It looks like Daimon Marcel has been cut. Marcel misses with a takedown attempt and Marcel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Daimon Marcel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marcel shoots for a double leg takedown but Rodriguez sprawls well. He's pushed Marcel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rodriguez looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daimon Marcel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Marcel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Marcel walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Marcel closes the distance and clinches up with Rodriguez, looking for a takedown. Marcel pushes Rodriguez against the cage but Rodriguez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Marcel has his takedown stuffed and Rodriguez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #ROC2#Marcel is rocked!#KD2# Rodriguez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Marcel sprawling to the canvas! Marcel rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rodriguez finish him?!
Oh Marcel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#CUT2#Daimon Marcel's cut is getting worse. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Marcel has his takedown stuffed#KD2# and Rodriguez counters with a nice right hand that sends Marcel toppling to the canvas! Marcel scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rodriguez finish him?!#T1# Marcel goes for a double leg but Rodriguez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rodriguez continues to drive forward. Rodriguez throws out a counter right but Marcel avoids it with no problem. Marcel seems to have got his legs back now.#BC2# Rodriguez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Marcel tries for a takedown but Rodriguez circles away easily#KD2# and Rodriguez counters with a nice right hand that sends Marcel toppling to the canvas! Marcel scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rodriguez finish him?!#ROC2#Marcel is rocked! Marcel switches off momentarily and Rodriguez cracks him with a monster right hand! Marcel topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Rodriguez dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Rodriguez!
