#R1##TD# Schmidt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bowman sprawls well initially but Schmidt persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bowman manages to get to full guard.
Bowman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Schmidt controls the pace. Bowman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Schmidt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bowman on the ground. Bowman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Bowman won't allow Schmidt to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bowman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bowman is standing up over Schmidt. Schmidt looks to escape but Bowman dives into side control.

Bowman is looking to regain half guard here but Schmidt keeps moving and retains side control. Bowman manages to get back to half guard. Schmidt keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Schmidt stalling away here and it's allowed Bowman to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gold sees it coming and avoids it easily. Gold gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Smeshomedov. A big left from Gold misses. #CL2# Smeshomedov moves into the clinch successfully.

#TD2# Gold is fighting off a takedown attempt but Smeshomedov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gold to the mat. Gold regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Gold pulls Smeshomedov in close to prevent any damage. Smeshomedov wants to control from the top but Gold keeps moving. #T1# Smeshomedov stopping the sweep attempt from Gold. Smeshomedov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Gold tries to land a sweep but no joy. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Ward changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McFoy fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Brian McFoy was cancelled. |

Ohlsson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mongooses jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mongoose tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ohlsson defends well and Mongoose ends up having to push Ohlsson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ohlsson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Mongoose needs to keep his hands up - Ohlsson had a free shot at his head there. Ohlsson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Ohlsson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mongoose has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ohlsson finds it's way round the side to connect with Mongoose's head. Ohlsson throws a right hand that Mongoose ducks under and follows up with a left that Mongoose also avoids with ease. Ohlsson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. This has been an exciting period of action! Ohlsson tests Mongoose's chin there with a solid looking shot.#T4# Mongoose misses with an uppercut. Ohlsson saw that one coming. Ohlsson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mongoose eats them both and turns towards Ohlsson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Ohlsson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Mongoose steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ohlsson. Mongoose shoots in but Ohlsson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mongoose on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
And that's the end of the fight! Robin Ohlsson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ohlsson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Conlan shoots in for a double leg but Ohlsson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Conlan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ohlsson as he jumps to the side. #CL2# Ohlsson darts in and clinches Conlan up against the cage. Conlan managing to block the knees to the body from Ohlsson.

#R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dalpra is defended easily by Smeshomedov. Smeshomedov feints a jab promting Dalpra to slip. Smeshomedov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dalpra slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT2#It looks like Tainan Dalpra has been cut. Dalpra has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dalpra there as he acknowledges the shot.#ROC2#Dalpra is rocked!#TD2# Smeshomedov dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Dalpra has had enough and taps out.

Mike Smeshomedov opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot!
