Horrible takedown attempt by Sasuage or perhaps it was just good defense by Pouliot, which made it look bad. Pouliot leaves Sasuage with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Sasuage uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pouliot. Sasuage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pouliot is fending him off so far but Sasuage persists. Nope, Pouliot circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Sasuage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sasuage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pouliot circles away quickly and effectively. Pouliot throws a body punch but Sasuage moves out of range. Wright takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Dodson moves into range and connects with a jab. #ROC#Wright is rocked! Wright switches off momentarily and Dodson cracks him with a monster right hand! Wright topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Dodson dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Dodson!

It seemed like Kimathi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Carpenter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kimathi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kimathi staying out of range there.
