That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hunter tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dean trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hunter looking for a sweep. Not yet Hunter, not yet. Dean postures up.

That was a close round but I would say that Dinny McDowell will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Thibodeaux follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Compare lands an overhand right. Compare jabbing away but nothing is landing. Compare works Schrute's body with a nice hook. Compare misses with an uppercut. Schrute saw that one coming. Schrute moves out of range of the strikes. A punch lands to the side of Schrute 's head but he takes it in his stride. Compare looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Compare misses the jab. Schrute misses with an uppercut. A big left from Compare misses. Compare misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Schrute.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schrute missing with a left hand there.
