#R1# Caldwell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ryker is fending him off so far but Caldwell persists. Nope, Ryker circles away and we're back to standing. Caldwell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#CL2# Ryker clinches up with Caldwell and pushes him back against the cage.#BC2# Ryker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ryker leaves Caldwell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cooper Caldwell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Caldwell tries to close the distance and clinch but Ryker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Caldwell stuffs the takedown. Ryker throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Ryker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Caldwell has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ryker. Caldwell loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ryker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ryker wants to stand but Caldwell is controlling the position. Caldwell pushes down on Ryker's leg and manages to get into half guard. Caldwell is trying to control. Ryker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. #T4# Ryker is doing well to control the position and prevent Caldwell from advancing to side control. Caldwell takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Caldwell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ryker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. #T3# Caldwell stuffs the takedown. Ryker has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Caldwell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ryker's waist but Ryker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Caldwell off to one side. Ryker is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ryker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ryker wants it to stay on the feet. Ryker doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Caldwell takes a kick to the side of the head. Ryker shoots in looking for a takedown but Caldwell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ryker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ryker holds on and takes a little breather. Caldwell trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ryker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Caldwell appears to be looking for a big counter.#T4# Caldwell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The fight stays on the outside here - Caldwell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Caldwell shoots in for a double leg but Ryker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ryker misses with the combination.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jack Ryker. Well Ryker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
