#TD2# De Lima gets a double leg takedown into Pending's guard. De Lima stands and throws Pending's legs to the side, diving into side control. De Lima controlling from side mount. Pending knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Lima on the ground. De Lima's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# De Lima has an Americana. Pending didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! De Lima is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if De Lima hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Marcos De Lima! A pretty intense looking Marcos De Lima took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title. |

#R1# Doctore fails to land the takedown.#TD2# De Lima shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. De Lima must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Doctore is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but De Lima frees his head nicely. Oh but Doctore has switched to an armbar! De Lima is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
