Tadageru lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Belyaev down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belyaev sneaks back into half guard. Tadageru lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Belyaev moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Tadageru content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Belyaev has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Zanshin MMA. Belyaev doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling River to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Belyaev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Belyaev shoots in but River avoids the takedown attempt easily. Belyaev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.#TD# Belyaev looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Nice uppercut there from Pierre. Pierre cracks Magomedov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Pierre tries to bum rush Magomedov with a series of wild strikes but Magomedov uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Magomedov misses with a takedown and Pierre cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Magomedov moves out of range of the strikes. Pierre takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Pierre slaps away a takedown attempt from Magomedov, before circling back to the center of the mat. Magomedov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. George Pierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hasbulla Magomedov. Magomedov staying out of range there. No joy there for Pierre, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Flamenco tries to get out of the position. Flamenco struggling a bit here. Belyaev throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Belyaev postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Belyaev has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Flamenco tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Belyaev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
