#R1# Bale fails with the takedown and Heinicke counters with a stiff right hand. Bale misses with a few strikes there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Heinicke! But no joy. A lazy left from Heinicke finds it's target. Bale tries for a takedown but Heinicke circles away easily and Heinicke counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bale thinking. Heinicke darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Heinicke thuds a left hand into Bale's body. Rowen Bale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Heinicke lands with an uppercut that bounces Bale off the cage and back into range.#KD2# Heinicke cracks Bale with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bale looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Heinicke finish him?
#CUT2#It looks like Rowen Bale has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bale closes the distance but Heinicke moves to the side and Heinicke counters with a right hand to the body. Bale is breathing heavily. Heinicke cracks Bale with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bale tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Heinicke pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bale is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
