McAlroy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Durill dives in and grabs McAlroy's left leg, looking for a takedown. McAlroy pushes down on Durill's head and hops out. McAlroy works the jab nicely. Bert McAlroy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McAlroy cracks Durill with a good jab. Durill on the wrong end of a nice jab. McAlroy works Durill's body with a nice hook. McAlroy jabs at Durill's body. This has been an exciting period of action! McAlroy misses with a wild combination.

and Song Ii counters with a lovely straight right hand! Durill shoots in for a double leg but Song Ii sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Song Ii lands with a hook. Durill tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. #TD# Durill closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Durill looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Song Ii is avoiding damage well.
Song Ii is trying to control Durill's posture but Durill avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. An elbow from Durill crashes against the mat.

Brychczy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Robertson has time to react. Brychczy scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Robertson ducks under a wild hook from Brychczy. Robertson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Robertson throws a head kick that misses.
