A slow jab from Whang misses its intended target. #TD# Whang tries to sprawl but Rusev drives through with a takedown into half guard. Whang should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Rusev trying to control the action but Whang is working from the bottom. Rusev wants to pass the guard but Whang is defending well. #SUB# Rusev wants to work for an arm triangle but Whang is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rusev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Whang keeps working. Bronson throws a series of punches but Dreyar moves out of range. Nice cross by Dreyar. Dreyar misses with an uppercut. Bronson saw that one coming. Dreyar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bronson takes one to the chin there. Bronson tries to bum rush Dreyar with a series of wild strikes but Dreyar uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dreyar thows a left - swing and a miss! Dreyar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dreyar jabbing away but nothing is landing. Dreyar cracks a nice hook into Bronson's ribs. This has been an exciting period of action! Sloppy strikes from Bronson. Those never looked like landing. Bronson throws a hook but Dreyar avoids it easily. Bronson misses with a wild body shot. Bronson misses with a left hand and Dreyar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dreyar digs a good body shot into Bronson's ribs. Bronson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dreyar manages to avoid it. Bronson slips a straight right by Dreyar.#T1# Bronson moves away from the strike by Dreyar. #R1# Willdoit throws a solid leg kick but Smith takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Willdoit. Willdoit is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Willdoit looks to land a body kick but Smith moved away. Willdoit takes one to the side of the head.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Willdoit is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Willdoit lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith walks into a straight right hand from Willdoit. A jab lands there for Willdoit. Smith has been working on his balance at Beast Nest, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Willdoit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Willdoit misses with a low kick. Willdoit looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The crowd cheers as Smith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Willdoit doesn't seem phased though. Smith has a takedown stuffed.#T1# Smith with a nice cross. Willdoit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away. Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Willdoit swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mantequilla Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smith steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Willdoit. That one must have hurt. Willdoit fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smith. Smith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Willdoit avoids it really well and circles away. Smith on the wrong end of a nice hook. Smith takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.#T2# Willdoit lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Willdoit walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Smith checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Willdoit takes a jab right on the kisser.

Willdoit gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Willdoit trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mantequilla Smith. I think Smith has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

But no, Whang has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dent but great work by Whang. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SUB# Whang has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dent is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Whang yanks on the arm and Dent is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Coppola will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
