Jenkins missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jenkins content to control rather than advance. Ryland taking some punishment here, with Jenkins in his half guard. Ryland wants to get back to his feet.

Blaze bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A slow jab from Spike misses its intended target. Blaze takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Blaze tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Spike defends well and Blaze ends up having to push Spike into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Blaze sprawls well initially but Caro persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Caro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#SUB# Caro is looking for a kimura but Blaze is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Caro to get the leverage. Caro passes to full mount! Caro content just to control the position here. Caro trying to control but he's not successful this time. Caro throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Caro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Caro controlling from mount. #SUB# Caro wants to finish this one by submission but Blaze is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Caro. and Fighter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ryland lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fighter circles away quickly and effectively. Ryland falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fighter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. John Ryland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryland tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fighter was well out of range. Poor timing from Ryland. Ryland tests Fighter's chin there with a solid looking shot. A big right from Fighter misses. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fighter, as that shot connected.

Fighter's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ryland connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fighter scrambles back to his feet. Ryland sees it coming and avoids it easily.#T3# Fighter drops his hands for a split second and Ryland immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Fighter face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Ryland follows up with a right hand that knocks Fighter into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
