#R1# Erasmus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Erasmus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rihard swivels and escapes. Rihard changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Rihard lands with a shot to the body. Erasmus misses with a takedown letting Rihard counter with a right hand. Erasmus shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jab from Rihard. Nice straight punches there by Rihard. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rihard.#TD# Erasmus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rihard on his heels. He'll look to pass Rihard's guard now, I'm sure. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Erasmus stays in close to Rihard's body and controls the position. We've been hearing that Erasmus has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Rihard wants to sweep here but Erasmus controlling him for the moment. #T1# Erasmus slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Vahid Gangster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fries misses with a wild body shot. A telegraphed right hand from Gangster misses the target. Gangster throws a hook but Fries blocks it. Fries went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Gangster throws a predictable looking body shot

Freeman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rihard lands a jab to the nose. Rihard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Gangster throws a combination that misses #TD2# and Kiely counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kiely looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gangster with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kiely is looking to stall here but Gangster recovers full guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kiely working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Kiely is looking to work some ground and pound but Gangster has wrist control. Gangster not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Chaithong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bleak manages to get himself to full guard.
