Michael turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Raikov shoots in for a takedown but Michael shows good takedown defense. Raikov moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromMichael. Raikov has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Raikov. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Raikov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Michael is trying to defend but Raikov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Michael makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!#TD# Raikov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. Werdum tries to clinch up and Love counters with a straight right hand.#CL2# Love closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Love missing with knees to the body.
Love is pressed up against the cage. Werdum has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Love down to the mat. Love avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #CL2# Werdum tries to keep at a distance but Love has taken the fight into the clinch.#TD2# Love pulls Werdum into guard.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Love tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Love gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Love apologises and we restart here on the feet.

It looks like Love might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
