#TD2# Kingman drags the fight down to the ground.
#SUB2# Kingman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Schneider is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schneider wanted to stand there but Kingman had control of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Kingman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Schneider gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kingman closes the distance and clinches up with Schneider, looking for a takedown. Kingman pushes Schneider against the cage but Schneider circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. #R1# James is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Morris.#CL# James closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. James trying to land knees to the body.

#CL# James gets in close and instigates a clinch. #TD# James decides to pull guard. James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Morris trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morris is fighting to break James's control of his arms but James is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#ES# James is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Morris presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. #BC# James breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
James looks to land a body kick but Morris moved away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. James connects with an inside leg kick. Morris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. John James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T1##CL# James instigates a clinch. #TD# James tightens his grip and picks Morris up, before dumping him to the ground. James is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#SU# James gets to his feet. Morris looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Morris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts James as he jumps to the side. #T2# Morris moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.#CL# James pushes Morris up against the cage in a clinch. James keeps control of Morris as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. #TD# James lands a takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morris can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as James controls the pace. Morris can't keep his opponent in guard - James advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. #SUB# James is trying to work for a kimura but Morris is defending well.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. James lands a nice short elbow. James prevents Morris from improving his position. James lands with a punch from half guard. #T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Morris is trying to get back to full guard. James is controlling the pace.
James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morris keeps working. Morris trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

John James dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2##TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Morris enables James to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Morris manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Morris wants to get back to his feet but James passes into half guard.
#REVB# James wants to take a breather but Morris is having none of it. James works his foot free and advances to mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. James cracks Morris with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James raining down hammerfists from mount. Morris looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! James is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Morris can do to turn this around?#T1##SUB# Morris is trying to defend against the choke here but James has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. James Tightens the hold and Morris taps out furiously! James displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kingman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Assad Ii is fending him off so far but Kingman persists. Nope, Assad Ii circles away and we're back to standing. Kingman shoots in looking for a takedown. Assad Ii tries to sprawl out of it but Kingman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Assad Ii manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Kingman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Assad Ii shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kingman eats them both and turns towards Assad Ii to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#T1# Kingman fails with a takedown attempt. Kingman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Assad Ii counters with a one-two to the body. Assad Ii scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Zachariah Assad Ii is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Assad Ii dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kingman. That did some damage! Assad Ii lands a leg kick that knocks Kingman off balance momentarily. Assad Ii fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kingman. Assad Ii connects with an inside leg kick. Assad Ii tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kingman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Assad Ii with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Kingman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Assad Ii counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
