Armstrong has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Armstrong fails to land the takedown.#CL# Robertson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Armstrong, pushing him back against the cage. Armstrong is trying to pull guard but Robertson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Randell Robertson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kelvin Armstrong. Robertson effectively controlling the action here. Robertson gets underhooks to prevent Armstrong's takedown attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Secord is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Secord manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stone manages to get himself to full guard.

Kormier landing with the ground and pound. Kormier engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kormier landing with the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kormier content to stall in guard here. Kormier with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.#T1# Kormier stands up over Tung, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kormier is pushing down on Tung's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tung is fighting to maintain full guard but Kormier has managed to sneak the leg through. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kormier in particular looking to stall. Nice strikes from Kormier there. Kormier is figuring out what he wants to do next. Kormier slips a nice elbow through Tung's hands, connecting with Tung's forehead.#SU# Kormier decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. #TD# Kormier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.#T2# Kormier works his way into full mount! Kormier takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kormier cracks Tung with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
