Dalal replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Phoenix blocks it well. Phoenix moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Dalal avoids the head kick by Phoenix.
Dalal shoots and misses #CL# and Phoenix moves into the clinch. Phoenix stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Phoenix goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Phoenix tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dalal's elbow. Phoenix tries to throw a body punch but Dalal avoids it by throwing Phoenix back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phoenix lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Phoenix misses with an elbow strike.

#TD2# Levy jumps guard and drags Phoenix to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Phoenix slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Phoenix trying to control the position from guard on top but Levy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phoenix is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #T1# Levy controls Phoenix momentarily but Phoenix frees himself. Levy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Phoenix is one step ahead there. Phoenix pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Levy is keeping the position for now. "I'm sorry" says Hands. Levy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.#CL2# Levy instigates a clinch. Hands tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Levy's elbow. Hands gets underhooks to prevent Levy's takedown attempt.
#TD2# Levy tightens his grip and picks Hands up, before dumping him to the ground. Hands manages to land in guard. Hands tries to land a sweep but no joy. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Berkut lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Berkut working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Berkut lands a nice short elbow. Berkut takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.#SUB2# Berkut maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dalal could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Berkut has cracked it and Dalal is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Berkut!

Jones throws a series of punches but Vaknin moves out of range. Vaknin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Jones misses with a lunging right hand

It looked like Jones was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Vaknin. Vaknin lands a slapping body shot.

Dalal gets off balance looking for a body kick and Chai counters with a stiff right hand. Chai moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Chai connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A jab from Dalal misses. Dalal shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Good standup being displayed there by Chai as he connects with a hook. Dalal with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Chai to score with a decent uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dalal looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Dalal takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Featheringham slaps away a takedown attempt from Levy, before circling back to the center of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Levy. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Featheringham has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gad Levy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Levy leaves Featheringham with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
