#R1# Avicena shoots in looking for a takedown but Shoe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Avicena's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. It appears Shoe was looking to counter with a kick there. Shoe is breathing heavily.#TD2# Shoe tries to sprawl but Avicena drives through with a takedown into half guard. Avicena keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Avicena is nestled in close to Shoe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Avicena keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Avicena working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nice strikes from Avicena there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Avicena looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. It looks like Avicena might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Let's hope that Avicena has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T1# Avicena lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Avicena content just to control the position here. #SUB2# Shoe has left one of his arms exposed and Avicena doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Shoe screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

#R1# Jackson tries to land a front kick but Bumi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD# Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bumi bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!#TD# Jackson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Bumi throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Jackson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bumi is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. #T1##SUB2# Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bumi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Bumi's legs - danger averted.#SUB# Jackson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bumi dives on top into guard.#REVB##SU2# Bumi stands up and waves to Jackson to follow him.
