The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Protector scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Protector connects with a body shot that sends Covington's belly button to the back.
Covington could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Covington closes the distance and pushes Protector back into the cage.
Protector wants to get back to striking at distance but Covington won't allow it. #TD#
Covington wants the takedown. Protector is fighting it off but Covington persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Protector's guard against the cage.
Covington makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Covington prevents Protector from getting back to his feet.
Protector is looking to stand back up but Covington counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Protector.
Protector is trying to stand back up but Covington is controlling him #SU#

Covington has closed the distance and engaged Protector in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Covington decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Covington is taking a breather. Protector says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Covington decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Covington cracks Protector with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Covington immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Protector is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Covington!

Adams is sitting in close to White's body. White has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Adams is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Adams is tapping! That was a very nice submission by White.
