Sands is pressed up against the cage. Bannon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sands down to the mat. Sands avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Nice sprawl there from Sands as Bannon shoots in. Killian Sands has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Bannon. Sands scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.#CUT#It looks like James Bannon has been cut.#CL# Sands moves into the clinch. Sands could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot in the inside from Sands. #CUT#James Bannon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Sands dips a shoulder and cracks Bannon with a mighty uppercut! Bannon falls back against the cage and Sands unloads with a barrage of strikes! Bannon is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sands screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#CL# Lippy clinches. Lippy prevents a body shot from Calussa. Calussa using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lippy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Lippy throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

#TD# Lippy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Calussa can't fight it off and eventually Lippy manages to take the fight to the floor. Calussa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lippy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Calussa working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lippy. Lippy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SUB2# Calussa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lippy defends well.#T1# Lippy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Calussa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Lippy working hard to break the clinch.
