McBiden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Goku looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McBiden throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Goku wants to clinch.
McBiden keeps Goku at a distance using the push kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McBiden dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Goku. That did some damage!

Oh Goku is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
BAM! McBiden delivers a spinning backfist that drops Goku like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Si throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Medvedev's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Si dives in looking to finish as Medvedev flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Si's strikes! Si is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Medvedev's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Medvedev was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
