Price's coach down at Outlier Martial Arts New York was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Price's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Price bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Price misses with a takedown attempt - Rodney sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rodney works the jab nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Price. Price looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rodney is fending him off so far but Price persists. Nope, Rodney circles away and we're back to standing. Derek Rodney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clayton Price. The fighters circling - Rodney throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rodney lands a head shot.#ROC#Price is rocked! Rodney darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Price's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Rodney before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

#R1# Waters wants to clinch up but Liang keeps it at a distance. Liang swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nice takedown defense from Liang. No joy for Waters on that attempt. A countering left hand to the body from Liang misses. Waters tries to grapple but his opponent circles #KD2# and Liang counters with a crisp right hand that drops Waters! Liang lets Waters back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#CUT2#It looks like Mario Waters has been cut. Waters fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Liang swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Waters shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Liang scores with a counter punch that sends Waters to the canvas! Liang smells blood - he's punishing Waters with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Waters has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Before Dishonor tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Before Dishonor connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Collier jabbing away but nothing is landing. And Before Dishonor tries to counter it with a takedown but Collier pushes his down on his head and steps out.#CL2# Before Dishonor closes the distance and clinches. #BC2# Before Dishonor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Collier misses with a takedown #TD2# and Before Dishonor counters with a takedown into side control. Before Dishonor misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

It's a bit of a token attempt though and Collier regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Before Dishonor avoids the attempt from Collier to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Collier really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Hansen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Brice Noble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A looping hook to the body misses from Hansen. Noble does a little dance to reset his feet. Hansen has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hansen has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Noble. Noble misses the jab. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hansen! But no joy. Noble keeps Hansen at a distance using the push kick. #T2# Noble moves out of range of the strikes. Noble blinks but takes it well. A nice inside leg kick there by Noble. That's going to slow Hansen down. Noble chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Noble will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A little jabbing left from Hansen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hansen takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Noble scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Noble! Hansen is out on his feet! Noble rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hansen is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hansen is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Mercado listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.#CUT2#It looks like Marc Schlager has been cut. Schlager definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Schlager trying to stall but Mercado improves his position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Salerno gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ferriera trying to keep a closed guard but Lowery is proving a slippery customer.
Ferriera pulls Lowery in close to prevent any damage. Lowery's corner is telling him to maintain position. #R1# Kidd fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Waters looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Waters shoots and misses and Kidd makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.#TD# Kidd gets caught flat footed, as Waters shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Waters prevents Kidd from getting back to his feet. Waters trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kidd wants to get back to his feet but Waters is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kidd is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Waters dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kidd pushes Waters away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Waters gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Waters remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T1# Kidd is looking to get back to his feet here but Waters is keeping cool and he's managed to take Kidd's back. Kidd wants to get back to his feet. Kidd told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training.
