Morikatsu looks to land a right hand but Ozu moved out of range.
Ozu moves forwards but Morikatsu connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Morikatsu misses the jab.
Morikatsu takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Morikatsu lands with a straight right. Ozu didn't see that one coming.
Ozu misses with a series of wild punches.
Morikatsu throws a lazy right hand but Ozu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nasu Morikatsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morikatsu has hold of Ozu's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ozu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Morikatsu cranks the arm and Ozu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ozu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bravesmasher tries to free his leg and advance position but Wagner is retaining full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wagner can do anything to dispel that myth.

Villanil shoots in looking for a takedown. Pent tries to sprawl out of it but Villanil keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pent manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ser Pent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allan John Villanil.

Rivera wants to stay close but Valo steps back to make room for something. Rivera seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Valo and Rivera drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

After the fight, Sherman Manau was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Valo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rivera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
