No luck with that takedown attempt from Olivera.
Olivera throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Olivera closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Olivera lands in his opponent's guard.
Poli is wriggling around but Olivera manages to pass to half guard.

Poli can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Olivera controls the pace.
Olivera passes Poli's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Olivera is looking to slow Poli down with leg kicks.
Olivera falls off balance throwing a combination
and Poli counters with a series of strikes. Olivera will be more careful next time no doubt.

Olivera decides to stand back up.
Oh Poli is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Olivera throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Poli crashing down! Poli tries to stagger back to his feet but Olivera just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Poli asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
