Fushimaru looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? James is fending him off so far but Fushimaru persists. Nope, James circles away and we're back to standing. James tries to counter with a takedown but Fushimaru is quick to defend against it. Fushimaru wants to clinch up but James keeps it at a distance. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fushimaru. James misses with a few strikes there.
James feints and then cracks Fushimaru's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fushimaru down. #TD# James closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - James lands in his opponent's guard.#SUB# James drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and James jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James postures up.

Fushimaru slips under a jab. Fushimaru unleashes a big counter combination but James bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Fushimaru avoids the body shot from James.
James misses with a left hand and Fushimaru counters with a two punch combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fushimaru moves in looking to clinch but James pushes him off. James was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. James fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fushimaru manages to avoid it. Fushimaru ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fushimaru shoots in looking for a takedown. James tries to sprawl out of it but Fushimaru keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. James manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Recce James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saikko Fushimaru.#T1# James blocks the body kick.

James slaps away a takedown attempt from Fushimaru, before circling back to the center of the mat. James appears to be looking for a big counter. Fushimaru is breathing heavily. Fushimaru keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from James. James is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fushimaru can do to turn this around?#T2# James tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fushimaru was well out of range. Poor timing from James.#TD# Fushimaru gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fushimaru is looking to stand back up but James counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Fushimaru. #REVB# Recce James overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. James scores with a couple of good hammerfists. James moves into full mount! Fushimaru won't be happy about that! This has been an exciting period of action!#SUB# James is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fushimaru has managed to escape the submission attempt.
#SUB# James is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fushimaru to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fushimaru shrugs it off. #SUB# James is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! James extends the arm and Fushimaru is forced to tap!

#R1# Guerrero wants to clinch. Guerrero seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Guerrero on the wrong end of a nice jab. Schultz shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Guerrero takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Schultz sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Guerrero bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ron Schultz! Ron Schultz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. |

#R1# The fight stays on the outside here - Black looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Black shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fury counters with a stiff right hand. Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fury avoids it really well and circles away.#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Fury. Fury is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Black really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fury. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Black wants to control but Fury manages to buck him off and is now in Black's guard! Nice work there by Fury! Black controls Fury momentarily but Fury frees himself. #T2# Fury distracts Black with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Fury scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Fury stands and throws Black's legs to the side, diving into side control. Fury scoring with punches from side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fury cracks Black with a big right hand but Black just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

#R1# Fudge throws a series of strikes that have Blue backpedaling.
#CUT2#It looks like Leonardo Blue has been cut. Fudge throws a right and a left that Blue avoids nicely. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Blue throws a hook to the side of Fudge's head but Fudge sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Blue dodges the punch combination from Fudge.
Fudge tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Fudge. Blue goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Fudge throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Blue throws a head kick that misses. Fudge scores with a kick to the body.
Fudge fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Blue. Fudge's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fudge duly obliges. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blue cracks Fudge with a good jab. Blue looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A right-left combo lands from Fudge. Fudge pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Blue back to the cage. Fudge follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Blue misses with a head kick.
Fudge looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Blue is breathing heavily. Fudge connects with an inside leg kick. A kick lands to the mid section there for Fudge. Fudge tests Blue's chin there with a solid looking shot. Blue throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fudge feints a jab promting Blue to slip. Fudge then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Blue slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#ROC2#Blue is rocked!#T1# Nice shot by Blue. Oh Blue is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fudge listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Fudge fakes the leg kick and cracks Blue in the body. Blue is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Fudge just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Blue has gone limp and this one is over!

Kalevi is fighting to break De La Cruz's control of his arms but De La Cruz is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. De La Cruz looking for a sweep. Not yet De La Cruz, not yet. #SUB# De La Cruz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kalevi looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kalevi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. De La Cruz is controlling Kalevi's posture.#T1# De La Cruz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Briggs tries to buck Fury off but Fury is having none of it. Fury lands a decent elbow from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Briggs can't do much from the bottom here. Briggs takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Briggs is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Briggs tries to control but Fury manages to take his back.#T1# I really don't envy Briggs right now.

De La Cruz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT2#It looks like Albert Liondoom has been cut. Liondoom punishes De La Cruz's body with a nice straight punch.#TD# Liondoom looking to score a takedown here. De La Cruz is defending well but Liondoom drives through and ends up in De La Cruz's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Liondoom stopping the sweep attempt from De La Cruz. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zovalk landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Jefords throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Zovalk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
