Kerotan throws a hook to the side of Gold's head but Gold sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kerotan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Nye wants to stand and escape but Alieva is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alieva controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nye keeping moving, preventing Alieva from controlling successfully. #ES2# Nye has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Alieva has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Nye is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Piccirilli lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Alieva can't find room to land a body shot as Piccirilli controls the action.
