#R1# McNofun ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. McNofun misses with a hook. Brandt ducked under it nicely. Brandt slips under a jab. McNofun scoring well with a low kick there.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brandt has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. McNofun scores with a nice right hand.
McNofun misses with a body kick. McNofun cracks Brandt with a good jab. McNofun is looking to clinch but Brandt is avoiding it.
A clash of legs there as Brandt blocks the low kick. Brandt changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Brandt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McNofun lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Brandt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Brandt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McNofun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Brandt trying to control the position from guard on top but McNofun is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McNofun wants to get back to his feet but Brandt is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #T1# Brandt trying to control but McNofun is working from the bottom. Rayan Brandt dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! McNofun tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brandt paws at him with a jab and circles away. McNofun lands a leg kick that knocks Brandt off balance momentarily. McNofun moves forwards but Brandt connects with a nice, crisp jab. An inside leg kick from McNofun misses. McNofun is looking to clinch but Brandt is avoiding it.

#T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brandt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Brandt is trying to control but can't.

And that's the end of the fight! Tommy Chang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Belly misses with a left hand and Tate counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Tate on the wrong end of a nice hook. Belly uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tate. Tate lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tate. A swing and a miss from Tate. Belly lands the left hand. Tate misses with a hook. Belly appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Tate throws a looping overhand right but Belly ducks down to avoid it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tate misses with a hook. Belly lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Belly misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tate throws a body punch but Belly moves out of range. Belly looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tate is fending him off so far but Belly persists. Nope, Tate circles away and we're back to standing. Tate swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Belly has been working on his balance at Rabid Dog, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Tate. Tate throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Belly looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A combination from Belly does no damage. Tate throws the left hand but Belly avoids the punch easily.#T1# Tate slips a straight right by Belly. It seemed like Tate was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Belly is looking to clinch. Tate appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Tate might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Belly ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tate has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Tate scores with a jab to the jaw. Tate takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A big right from Tate misses. Tate lunges at Belly with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Belly's hand. Tate slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Tate dodges the punch combination from Belly.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tate thuds a left hand into Belly's body. Tate is still on wobbly legs! Can Belly finish him? Tate is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Belly moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

I've been told that Brandt has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Edson Barboozer had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 158.0, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chang takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A big right from Chang misses. Chang throws a big shot that misses. Cheese will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
