De Azevedo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kim defends it well. Kim throws a head kick that misses. Kim scores with a jab to the head.
De Azevedo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kim swivels and escapes. Kim feinted with a counter takedown. De Azevedo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kim lands an overhand right. De Azevedo staying out of range there. De Azevedo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kim as he avoids it easily. De Azevedo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. As De Azevedo tries to get set, Kim tries to push him back and clinch up but De Azevedo manages to avoid the attempt. Kim swats away the attempt to clinch by De Azevedo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some wild striking there from Kim.
De Azevedo unleashes a big counter combination but Kim bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. De Azevedo throws a sloppy head kick and Kim moves out of range easily. #TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Kim. #T1# De Azevedo struggling a bit here. De Azevedo stops Kim from passing to mount. Kim remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Kim in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Kim is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt De Azevedo will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. You can see the frustration on De Azevedo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. De Azevedo is trying to improve his position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kim cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down De Azevedo for as long as he can get away with. Kim landing strikes from the mount. Kim looks to throw an elbow but misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kim has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by De Azevedo after a bit of a struggle. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Kim is trying to work for a single leg takedown but De Azevedo pulls him back up using the underhooks. Andrei De Azevedo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dong Hyun Kim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kim wants a takedown.

#TD# Blue shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Blue was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!#SUB# Blue has an Americana. Bryan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Blue is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Blue hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pearce wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. #SUB# Pearce working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hinson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hinson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pearce is pulling down on Hinson's head to control his posture. Pearce is looking to stand up but Hinson isn't so interested in that idea. Pearce striking off his back but it's not causing Hinson any problems. Hinson throws a strike but Pearce rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Pearce advances to half guard. Pearce seems to have got his legs back now. Pearce looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. #SUB# Pearce is looking for a kimura but Hinson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pearce to get the leverage. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Pearce topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Hinson dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Hinson!

Garcia lands a glancing blow to the side of Do Souza's head. Garcia definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Do Souza shoots in but no luck this time. Do Souza tries to clinch up. Garcia lands with an overhand left. Do Souza darts in looking for a takedown but Garcia gets double underhooks and turns Do Souza into the cage. Gordon Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Do Souza. Garcia scores with a hook. Garcia closes the distance and lands a one-two. Garcia lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Garcia lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Garcia bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Do Souza's head backwards. Garcia cracks Do Souza with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Garcia jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Garcia wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Do Souza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Garcia throws a good cross that connects.

Pearce postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Pearce showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Pearce slips nicely into half guard. Pending should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Pearce lands strikes from half guard. Pearce scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Pearce is controlling the pace.

D Angelo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. D Angelo stuffs the takedown attempt from Bryan. It looks like Do Souza might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Do Souza wants to pass the guard but Mmm is keeping the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Do Souza accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Do Souza connects with a couple of short punches. Mmm can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Do Souza controls the pace.
