Mile connects with a solid leg kick. Magalhaes De Souza chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mile can pounce on him.
Mile scores with a push kick. Magalhaes De Souza misses with a hook
and Mile counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Magalhaes De Souza looks to land a combination but Mile avoids it well. Magalhaes De Souza walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mile. Magalhaes De Souza looks winded! Mile scoring well with a low kick there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mile lands with a kick to the ribs.

Iwill Kicku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Patrick darts in looking for a takedown but Kicku gets double underhooks and turns Patrick into the cage. Patrick wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
#TD2# Kicku pulls guard successfully.
Patrick sitting in guard, not really doing much. #SU# Patrick gets to his feet. Kicku looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Patrick shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kicku as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kicku keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rune Patrick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kicku scores with a head kick. Patrick tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Kicku displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Patrick. #T1# Kicku pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Patrick throws a quick counter head kick but Kicku was just out of range. Horrible takedown attempt by Kicku or perhaps it was just good defense by Patrick, which made it look bad. Patrick tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kicku manages to circle out of the way. Kicku throws a head kick that Patrick semi-blocks.

Patrick throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kicku's waist but Kicku gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Patrick off to one side. Kicku doesn't manage to clinch there - Patrick circles away.

Kicku gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Patrick counters with a straight right hand. Patrick tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kicku swivels and escapes. Patrick tries to score a body lock takedown but Kicku shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Kicku jumps guard but Patrick stands there with Kicku around his waist. Kicku gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Patrick has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kicku after a bit of a struggle. Kicku tries to work over Patrick's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. #T3# Patrick goes for a takedown attempt but Kicku pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kicku must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Patrick manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kicku manages to get himself to full guard.

Iwill Kicku is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.#T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rune Patrick has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kicku can do anything to dispel that myth. Patrick misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Drinkwater throws a strike but Salvador rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Salvador's corner is telling him to maintain position. Drinkwater will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Sonen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Zirovanagadov controls the pace. Let's hope that Zirovanagadov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sonen can't keep his opponent in guard - Zirovanagadov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. #T1# Zirovanagadov is controlling the pace.

#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Yboy. Magalhaes De Souza sneaks out the side door and pushes Yboy away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.#TD# Yboy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Magalhaes De Souza quickly recovers to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yboy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Yboy is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Yboy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Magalhaes De Souza wants to get back to his feet. Yboy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Magalhaes De Souza keeps working. Magalhaes De Souza looks like he's trying to stand up.
#T1# Yboy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Magalhaes De Souza with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Yboy is nestled in close to Magalhaes De Souza , controlling him well. Ishida sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rondon's guard. #SUB# Rondon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ishida pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ishida seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ishida lands a nice short elbow. Rondon is looking to improve his position.
