#R1# Alverz stuffs the takedown attempt from King. King gets slowly back to his feet. #TD# King closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Alverz's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alverz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. King wants to pass the guard but Alverz is keeping the position. Alverz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as King controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Alverz looking for a sweep. Not yet Alverz, not yet. #T1##SUB2# Alverz has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though. King slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. King controlling the position from side mount. #SUB# King tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no King has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The referee asks King politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. King prefers to stall for the moment though.#T2# King trying to control the action but Alverz is working from the bottom. King taking a breather here. Alverz tries to bench press King off him but King keeps the position. Alverz wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! King slows the pace down. King seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Alverz for as long as he can get away with.#T3# King tries to advance to mount but can't. You can see the frustration on Alverz's face as King controls the position. #SUB# King thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Alverz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but King wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Alverz has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but King is really squeezing tight and eventually Alverz passes out! King breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

#R1# Munyentwali keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Munyentwali dips to his left and cracks Rubin with an uppercut! An inside leg kick from Munyentwali misses. Rubin tries for a takedown but Munyentwali sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Munyentwali swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Rubin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Rubin closes the distance and clinches up with Munyentwali, looking for a takedown. Rubin pushes Munyentwali against the cage but Munyentwali circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Munyentwali lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rubin looks to score with a jab to the body but Munyentwali is just out of range. Munyentwali's corner calls for a 1-2. Munyentwali obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Rubin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.#ROC2#Rubin is rocked! Rubin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rubin there as he acknowledges the shot. Oh Rubin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rubin throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Rubin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Munyentwali moves away. Rubin scores with a head kick. Munyentwali tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.#T1# Rubin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
#KD2# Munyentwali feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rubin sprawling to the canvas! Rubin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Munyentwali finish him?!
Munyentwali keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harrison Rubin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rubin is breathing heavily. Rubin has his takedown stuffed and Munyentwali counters with a right hand from hell and Rubin is out cold! A vicious knockout!

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kaliev's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rubin keeping moving, preventing Kaliev from controlling successfully. Kaliev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rubin. Draskovich dips to his left and cracks Rubin with an uppercut! Rubin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Draskovich's waist but Draskovich gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rubin off to one side. It seemed like Draskovich was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Draskovich checks a leg kick. Bramm Rubin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
