#R1# Curtis takes a jab right on the kisser.
#CUT#It looks like Cottonpicker Curtis has been cut. Curtis with a poor takedown and Nitro counters with a left to the body. Nitro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Curtis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Curtis dives in and grabs Nitro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nitro pushes down on Curtis's head and hops out. Cottonpicker Curtis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Nitro.
#TD2# Nitro gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Curtis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nitro's guard. Curtis is taking a breather. Nitro says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#SUB2# Curtis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #T1# Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Curtis in particular looking to stall. Curtis thows a huge punch but Nitro dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Curtis stalling. It looks like Curtis might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Curtis looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Curtis thows a huge punch but Nitro dodges it nicely.
Curtis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Curtis working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jethro Nitro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T3# Nitro misses with a hook. Curtis misses with a takedown attempt - Nitro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jethro Nitro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cottonpicker Curtis. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Curtis is defended easily by Nitro. Nitro lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nitro. Curtis goes for a double leg but Nitro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nitro continues to drive forward. Nitro stuffs the takedown. Curtis shoots in looking for a takedown. Nitro tries to sprawl out of it but Curtis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nitro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Curtis is defended easily by Nitro.#T4# Curtis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. No luck for Curtis with that takedown attempt. Nitro lands with a right and another and another! Curtis is in big trouble! Nitro lands again and this time it's lights out for Curtis! A quality knockout there for Nitro.

Dukes throws an off balance right hand
and Slice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Slice dodges the punch combination from Dukes.
Slice looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dukes with a hook. Dukes misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slice steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dukes. Dukes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Slice slips a jab and a cross from Dukes.
Dukes misses with a straight left. #T1# Dukes throws a hook but Slice avoids it easily. Dukes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Slice scores with a jab. Dukes acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Dukes closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Slice swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dukes. Slice moves out of range of the body kick. Slice is looking to counter punch. Dukes getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Slice connects with a looping right hand.

and Slice counters with a good low kick that Dukes was not able to check. Slice lands an overhand right. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Slice ducks under a wild hook from Dukes. Dukes misses with a wild combination.

Slice is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Dukes goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Dukes throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Slice counters with a nice uppercut. Slice misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Dukes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Slice feints a jab promting Dukes to slip. Slice then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dukes slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Dukes just misses with a punch to the body.

Dukes steps away and waves a wobbly Slice back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2#Slice is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Kimbino Slice has been cut. Dukes ducks under a wild hook from Slice. Oh Slice is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dukes misses with a hook. Slice ducked under it nicely. #T3# Dukes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Slice sees it coming and avoids it easily. Slice was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Slice seems to have got his legs back now. Slice is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Dukes doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Slice crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Slice's bad books for that mishap!

#R1# Dukes walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Dukes misses with an uppercut
and Tsuruta counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Tsuruta misses with a straight left. Dukes shoots for a double leg takedown but Tsuruta sprawls well. He's pushed Dukes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dukes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MMA Training and Sparring Buddies in the buildup to the fight. Tsuruta looks to score with a jab to the body but Dukes is just out of range. Tsuruta with a jab. Tsuruta scores with a jab to the body. Tsuruta connects with a looping right hand.

Tsuruta stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Tsuruta connects with a looping right hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tsuruta jabs Dukes to the body, keeping him at a distance. Tomomi Tsuruta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tsuruta lands a lovely overhand right. Dukes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tsuruta has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Dukes. Tsuruta shrugs it off though. Tsuruta fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dukes on the side of the head.#T1# Tsuruta scores with a jab to the jaw. A looping hook to the body misses from Tsuruta. Dukes does a little dance to reset his feet. Tsuruta paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tsuruta checks a leg kick. Tsuruta connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dukes. Dukes circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Tsuruta lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Good standup being displayed there by Tsuruta as he connects with a hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tsuruta lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Oh Dukes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tsuruta walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Dukes drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Tsuruta swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Dukes's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

No joy there for Camacho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nitro wants to counter the offense by Camacho and move into the clinch position. Camacho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nitro tries to counter by closing the distance. Camacho takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nitro slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Camacho tries to clinch up.#CL# Camacho clinches up against the cage. Nitro keeps control of Camacho as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# Nitro breaks from the clinch.
Camacho will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Camacho throws a series of punches but Nitro avoids them all with ease. Camacho takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

#R1# Dukes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hunter circles away quickly and effectively.#TD# Hunter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dukes's guard. Hunter throws a big elbow that misses. Hunter postures up in Dukes's guard and throws a big left but Dukes blocks it. Dukes keeping moving, preventing Hunter from controlling successfully. Hunter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hunter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hunter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Hunter is looking to work some ground and pound but Dukes has wrist control. Hunter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dukes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. #SUB# Hunter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dukes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hunter has Dukes in his guard.#REVB##T1# Hunter keeping moving, preventing Dukes from controlling successfully. Dukes throws a big right hand that misses. Dukes wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving. Dukes tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunter is retaining full guard. #SUB# Hunter is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dukes defends well. Dukes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dukes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Dukes trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#SUB# Hunter is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dukes defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dukes takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Dukes wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving. Hunter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dukes is one step ahead there. Hunter pulls Dukes in close to prevent any damage. #SUB# Hunter working for a triangle but Dukes defends it easily.

Hunter scores with a spinning back kick!#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hunter feints and then cracks Dukes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dukes down. #TD# Hunter fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dukes sprawls well initially but Hunter persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hunter thows a huge punch but Dukes dodges it nicely.

#ROC#Dukes is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Plugger Dukes has been cut. Hunter lands a couple of digs. Dukes is still in real trouble! Can Hunter finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunter trying to control but Dukes is working from the bottom. Dukes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dukes seems to have recovered his senses. Hunter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dukes works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hunter stands up over Dukes, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hunter wants to control from the top but Dukes keeps moving. Hunter loads up on a big left hand. Dukes felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hunter looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Dukes can't hide his disappointment, as Hunter celebrates the victory.

Nitro misses with an elbow over the top. Brook jumps guard but Nitro stands there with Brook around his waist. Brook gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nitro can't find room to land a body shot as Brook controls the action.
Brook is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nitro pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jethro Nitro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brook Brook.#BC2# Brook manages to break the clinch.

Nitro half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Nitro looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Brook misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Oh, that's hurt him - Brook falls to the canvas and Nitro follows him into side control. #ROC#Brook is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Brook Brook has been cut. Brook looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brook is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Brook is still in real trouble! Can Nitro finish him? Nitro fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Brook seems to have recovered his senses. Nitro lands a strong strike to the head of Brook. That's dazed him! Nitro looking to finish here. Brook is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Nitro lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

#R1# A punch lands to the side of Kidd 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kidd looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Dukes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kidd. Dukes darts in and out, connecting with a jab. #CUT#It looks like Jesse Kidd has been cut. Dukes throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Kidd's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Dukes dives in looking to finish as Kidd flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Dukes's strikes! Dukes is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Kidd's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Kidd was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Nitro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB# Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Nitro is defending well. #SUB# Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #SUB# Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nitro has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Nitro is defending well. Nitro prevents Gracie from moving into mount. #T1##SUB# Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nitro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. #SUB# Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #SUB# Gracie has hold of Nitro's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Nitro seems comfortable defending it but Gracie has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Nitro is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Nitro is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Dukes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. #SUB# Coppola is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dukes is in trouble! Dukes is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Coppola. Coppola manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! #R1# Nitro throws the left hand but Bernard avoids the punch easily. A little jabbing left from Bernard on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Bernard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nitro as he jumps to the side. Nitro drops his hands momentarily and Bernard takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Nitro scores with a three punch combo!
Bernard throws a nice looking combination but Nitro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bernard throws a body punch but Nitro moves out of range. Nitro is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bernard. Nitro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bernard manages to avoid it. Nitro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bernard unleashes a big counter combination but Nitro bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Bernard lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Asa Bernard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nitro misses with a hook. Bernard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dukes is fighting to break Bonga's control of his arms but Bonga is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Dukes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bonga works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Dukes is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bonga has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Toretto on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
