The referee is keeping an eye on Maskadov - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rosendale looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Maskadov throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rosendales head.
Rosendale has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Maskadov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Maskadov has Rosendale pressed against the cage, preventing Rosendale from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Bernard scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Eiichi is looking to get back to his feet here but Bernard is keeping cool and he's managed to take Eiichi's back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Eiichi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bernard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Eiichi wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
