Dinu bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Halo shoots and misses and Dinu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dinu misses with a looping right. Halo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. This has been an exciting period of action! Dinu misses with a straight left. Dinu throws a shot from downtown. Halo moves away and avoids it. Halo is looking to counter the offense by Dinu and move into the clinch. Halo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Dinu's coach down at BANZAI COMBAT ACADEMY AMSTERDAM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dinu's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Dinu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Dinu looks to score with a jab to the body but Halo is just out of range. Horrible takedown attempt by Halo or perhaps it was just good defense by Dinu, which made it look bad. Halo backing away here, and Dinu unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Dinu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. #T2# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Satan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Marsh in his tracks. Satan getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A looping hook to the body misses from Satan. Marsh does a little dance to reset his feet. It seemed like Marsh was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Marsh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Satan stalks Marsh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Marsh's face. Marsh staggers backwards, shaken. Satan stuns Marsh with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Satan moves out of range as Marsh strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Satan lands a jab to the nose. Satan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marsh.

Cheese fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Puto manages to avoid it. Puto misses with a looping right. Nacho Cheese seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Puto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cheese.
Cheese lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Cheese swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Puto slips under a jab from Cheese. Cheese ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Cheese throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been told by Cheese's head coaches at Fireball Zone that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cheese manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Puto throwing strikes from guard but Cheese blocks nicely. Puto in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. #T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Puto creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cheese sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Cheese is letting Puto control him for a moment. Cheese is trying to buck Puto off. Puto working the head and body with strikes. Puto working the ground and pound but Cheese is defending the strikes. Cheese is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Puto asserts his dominance and retains side control. Puto is staying tight to Cheese's torso, preventing him from escaping. Cheese wants to get back to his feet. Satan misses with a looping right. Satan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bjornsson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bjornsson looks like he wants to counter punch here. Satan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Max Kinnaman. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kinnaman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
