Wansley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gutierrez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gutierrez has Wansley pulled in close to control his posture. Wansley trying to control but Gutierrez is working from the bottom. Gutierrez is trying to control the position from the bottom.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ramos has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Magomedsharipov is breathing heavily. Ramos feints a jab promting Magomedsharipov to slip. Ramos then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Magomedsharipov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Ramos moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Ramos misses with the combination.
Magomedsharipov tries to counter with a takedown but Ramos is quick to defend against it. Ramos looks to land a combination but Magomedsharipov avoids it well. Ramos lands a nice leg kick that just misses Magomedsharipov's sensitive parts. Ramos jabs at Magomedsharipov's body. Ramos throws a nice looking combination but Magomedsharipov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Reyes told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Reyes looking to throw knees to the head but Ramos is blocking nicely.

We've been hearing reports that Ramos has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. LeMahieu with a hook. Ramos is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ramos throws a right hand that LeMahieu ducks under and follows up with a left that LeMahieu also avoids with ease. LeMahieu cracks Ramos with a good jab. A nice inside leg kick there by LeMahieu. That's going to slow Ramos down. Ramos shoots in for a double leg but LeMahieu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. LeMahieu connects with an inside leg kick. Ramos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but LeMahieu circles away quickly and effectively. LeMahieu throws a head kick that half lands.

We've been hearing reports that Manduano has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Plazibat looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Manduano avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#TD# Rechers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pending looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Pending looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#SUB# Rechers is working to tighten his grip on Pending's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pending has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rechers is really squeezing tight and eventually Pending passes out!
