#R1##TD# Bogdan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Pacheco is looking for a sweep. Bogdan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bogdan winds up and cracks Pacheco with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bogdan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pacheco on the ground. Bogdan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pacheco with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Pacheco wants to get back to full guard. Bogdan blocks the strikes from Pacheco.
Pacheco moves into full guard.
Bogdan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #ROC#Pacheco is rocked! Bogdan scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Pacheco is still in real trouble! Can Bogdan finish him? Bogdan loads up on a big left hand. Pacheco felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bogdan looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Pacheco can't hide his disappointment, as Bogdan celebrates the victory.

Bigorilho is pushing down on Meridius's leg trying to pass to half guard. Meridius is fighting to maintain full guard but Bigorilho has managed to sneak the leg through. Bigorilho perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bigorilho has eaten all the pies! Meridius wants to get back to his feet. Bigorilho scoring with strikes to the body and head. Meridius tries to kick Bigorilho off but Bigorilho keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Meridius is trying to escape back to his feet but Bigorilho uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Ramsumair is pushing Pacheco up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Ramsumair stops a takedown attempt from Pacheco.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pacheco wants a takedown but no success here.

#R1# Young tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Young misses the shot to the body. Young lands a lovely overhand right. Young connects with the punch. Young cracks Njagi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A punch combination from Young misses. Eddie Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Njagi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Young pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Njagi half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Njagi shoots for a double leg takedown but Young sprawls well. He's pushed Njagi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Young throws a series of punches but Njagi moves out of range. Young misses with the combination.
Njagi feinted with a counter takedown. Young cracks Njagi with an open hand slap. Njagi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Njagi takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.#T1# Young lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. We've been hearing reports that Njagi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Young scores with a nice head shot. Young misses with a kick to the body #TD# and Njagi counters with a single leg into guard. Young didn't expect that. Njagi wants to pass the guard but Young is keeping the position. Njagi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Young really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Njagi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Njagi is looking to advance position but Young has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!#REVB##T2##SU2# Young stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Njagi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Young tries to avoid it but Njagi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Young to the ground. Young escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abasi Njagi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Njagi shoots in looking for a takedown but Young manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Njagi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Young connects with a nice looking jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Njagi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Njagi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Young tries to bum rush Njagi with a series of wild strikes but Njagi uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Young throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Njagi's head. Young with a hook. Young digs a good body shot into Njagi's ribs. Njagi avoids a punch combination nicely.

#T3# Young lands a jab to Njagi's midsection. A left lands for Young. Njagi sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Young connects with a jab. Njagi shoots in looking for a takedown. Young tries to sprawl out of it but Njagi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Young manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Njagi is defended easily by Young. Young misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Njagi has his takedown stuffed and Young counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Njagi is breathing heavily. Young lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Eddie Young is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T4# Young throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Njagi. Young throws a head kick but Njagi moves out of range.
Njagi changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Njagi shoots for a double leg takedown but Young sprawls well. He's pushed Njagi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Young lands with a good body shot. Young is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Young fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Njagi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Njagi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Young drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Njagi right on the button. Njagi goes down! Young follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Young gets the win via TKO!

#R1##CL# Lizult clinches up against the cage. Darwin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Lizult stalls. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Darwin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Lizult lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
