The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chong slips an arm under Shields chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Chong has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Chong is squeezing on Shields like an anaconda would it's prey. Shields fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Our spies down at at Bigfoot BJJ inform us that Gracie has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Gracie looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Zelecki is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#SUB2# Gracie has his foot on Zelecki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zelecki works his way back into a safe position though. Gracie trying to control the position.

Hatton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stever moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stever shoots in looking for a takedown but Hatton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stever's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hatton leaves Stever with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Connor Stever. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stever dives in for a single leg takedown but Hatton sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
